Phoenix's Air Combat emblem, the first one in the series

Emblems are featured throughout the Ace Combat series as identification for particular squadrons. Numerous squadrons featured in the series have their own emblem for easy identification.

The very first emblem was that of Phoenix from Air Combat. The emblems of Mobius Squadron, Razgriz Squadron, Galm Team, Gryphus Squadron, and Antares Squadron are other notable examples.
