The Papillon Project was a secret satellite program performed by Wernher and Noah Enterprises to create the MQ-90L and QFA-44 Carmilla, as well as to create a low-orbit satellite to control both units.

Trivia

  • Papillon is French for butterfly. The logo of the Papillon Project, displayed on the satellite and the QFA-44 units, is a butterfly emblem.
  • In the last mission of Ace Combat Infinity, The logo can also be seen on the Butterfly Master's hand.
