The R-701 Triakis is an attack helicopter developed by Neucom Incorporated. It was the only helicopter used by the Neucom Emergency Unit, the group's military arm.
Etymology
Triakis is a genus of houndshark of the family Triakidae, which includes the Leopard shark.
Description
The Triakis is a uniquely designed attack helicopter. Its fuselage is long and narrow - too narrow to accommodate a human pilot, since it was mainly developed to operate by itself as an unmanned unit. It can be remotely piloted, however.
It has a 3-bladed main rotor, a fenestron tail rotor and is armed with a single machine gun and a few missiles. All known appearances of the helicopter are in a bright red color.

History
The Triakis was developed by Neucom in the early 2040s as part of their Radical aircraft series, being the only rotor craft of the entire line. The craft made sporadic appearances throughout the Intercorporate War.
