The Second Battle of Tokyo was an assault on Tokyo by the Valahia.[1]

Prelude

After Martinez Security completed operations in the southern sectors of Japan, they moved to defend Tokyo against the Valahia forces that were able to break through the JSDF's defenses in the north. However, before their arrival, they received word that the Valahia had unveiled another large aircraft as support for the attack.[1]

Battle

Antares One and Rigel Squadron immediately began attacking the Valahia forces after their arrival on the battlefield. The large aircraft, codenamed Orgoi, showed exceptional mobility for its size; despite its mobility, Antares One was able to severely damage it. However, in the heat of battle, the leader of the Valahia, Nicolae Dumitrescu, seized upon Rigel Squadron's mercenary tendencies, and persuaded them to defect and head south in exchange for far greater money. Despite their unexpected defection, Antares One was able to eliminate the Orgoi by destroying its engines, sending it crashing into the sea.[1]

Aftermath

Martinez Security's successful defense resulted in Tokyo suffering minimal damage. However, the defection of Rigel Squadron dealt a heavy blow to its reputation. In addition, the international community clamoured for worldwide anti-Valahia measures as a result of the attack. This would prompt the foundation of the International Union Peacekeeping Force by businessman and insurance mogul Andre Olivieri; a coalition of private military companies established to defend against future Valahian attacks.[1]
