TLS reflector
TLS reflectors were modified vehicles designed to reflect Excalibur's Tactical Laser System when fired.[1]
Design
In case enemy fighters would be able to destroy the jammers surrounding Excalibur and advance towards the weapon, Excalibur's laser system would be fired onto one modified truck or airship equipped with a reflector reflecting each other, resulting in a laser network spanning around the weapon, making it difficult for pilots to maneuver.[1]
History
TLS reflectors were utilized by the USEA Federation during the United Nations' Operation Eternal Liberation to defend Excalibur from aerial attacks.[1]
The United Nations Forces commenced numerous attacks on Excalibur and despite the defense usage of the reflectors, supported by railway artillery, MQ-90 Quox drones and CFA-44 Nosferatus, were able to destroy the superweapon, along with the reflectors.[1]
