Red and Black - Bravo is the fourth campaign mission in Ace Combat: Joint Assault.

In multiplayer, this mission can be played simultaneously with Red and Black - Alpha. In single-player, the player can only choose Alpha or Bravo before moving on to Capital Defense.

Briefing

Burford: The "Valahia" are attacking Tokyo again, approaching from both the north and south. We will head south, engaging hostiles landing in the Boso Peninsula territory. We'll be fighting alongside the SDF. If the enemies break through our lines, the mission will end in failure. Pay attention to the status of the SDF forces at all times. Protect Tokyo from Valahia's attack. All units, roll out!

Objectives

Phase 1

As soon as the mission starts, there are five JGSDF tanks currently engaging Valahian vehicles. Two out of three vehicles farther from your initial position are being attacked by two vehicles simultaneously, which makes preventing more than one JGSDF vehicle loss (for obtaining S-Rank) difficult unless if the player uses a very fast aircraft.

Phase 2

A Valahian amphibious force consisting of a pair of frigates and three landing ships will approach the beachhead, the landing ships will spawn a couple of vehicles should they manage to land. Destroy all ships and/or amphibious vehicles to complete the mission.

S-Rank

The S-Rank is achieved if the JGSDF survives the initial phase with 90% or higher health remaining.

Debriefing

Burford: We've succeded in eliminating enemy forces from the Boso region. But hostiles have made it through from the Nijima region and several northern routes. Tokyo is going to be a battlefield again. We need to keep casualties to a minimum. Head for Tokyo immediately.

Enemy units marked as TGT usually must be destroyed to advance the mission. The TGT text is always in red, except if the player changes this in Ace Combat 7.
